You can print it with any word processor. Thank you for purchasing ProCite 5 for Windows! ----------------------------------------------------- Installing ProCite ----------------------------------------------------- This version of ProCite runs under Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 95, or Windows NT4. To install, you need approximately 25MB of free disk space. When you insert the ProCite CD, the Setup program starts. Follow the instructions on your screen. ----------------------------------------------------- Upgrading from Earlier Versions ----------------------------------------------------- Don't do anything until you back up your ProCite databases plus custom lists, workforms, output styles, and configuration files. Then, install into a new ProCite 5 folder. If you are upgrading from ProCite 4.03, you can directly open your databases with ProCite 5. Copy or move them to the ProCite5/Database folder and open them with ProCite 5. When you open databases created with earlier versions of ProCite, you are asked for permission to convert the files for ProCite 5. Click "Yes" and ProCite rebuilds in the new file format. Once your databases are converted, and you have checked them for accuracy, you can uninstall the previous version of ProCite. See your User's Guide for instructions. Unless you apply a language sort, your ProCite 5 databases are compatible with ProCite 4.03. If you have applied a language sort and want to share with ProCite 4.03, simply delete the database file with the extension .pdx and ProCite will rebuild that file when you open the database with ProCite 4.03. ProCite 5 databases are not compatible with versions prior to 4.03. ----------------------------------------------------- Online Manuals ----------------------------------------------------- While you are provided with a printed copy of the ProCite User's Guide, a PDF file version is also available in the Manuals folder on your ProCite CD. The Biblio-Link II manual is available only as a PDF file in the Manuals folder on the ProCite CD. (See the Biblio-Link II help file for documentation about new features.) Double-click on a PDF file to launch Adobe Acrobat and view the file. You can access the ProCite Help file at any time. Both the indexed help file and the Guided Tour are available from ProCite's Help menu as well as directly from the ProCite5 folder. The Biblio-Link II help file is available from the Biblio-Link II Help menu and directly from the ProCite5 folder. Press F1 in the ProCite or Biblio-Link II program, or the Help button in most dialogs, to display context- sensitive help topics. ----------------------------------------------------- New Features ----------------------------------------------------- The ProCite help file contains a more detailed list of enhancements than that given below.
